Chain Store Age
For its fourth quarter, Lands’ End recorded its third
straight period of sales growth after 11 consecutive quarters of
declines.
Net income was $39.8 million, compared to a loss of $94.8 million in the year-ago period.
Net revenue increased 11.3% to $510.6 million (the period included an
extra week). Direct segment revenue increased 14.3% to $455.6 million.
Retail segment revenue decreased 8.7% to $55.1 million compared to the
same period last year, primarily due to fewer Lands’ End Shops at Sears.
